AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Over 100 economists from Iran’s religious seminaries and universities have released a formal statement affirming their allegiance to Ayatollah Sayed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei, the Supreme Leader, in pursuit of building a powerful Iran within the emerging global order, with a central focus on the resistance economy in the post-liberal age.
The key pillars and strategic proposals outlined in the statement include ending the dominance of the U.S. dollar, reforming the budgeting system, implementing intelligent management and permanent control over the Strait of Hormuz, genuine popularization of the economy, expanding social justice, combating corruption, launching a horizontal housing production movement, achieving self-sufficiency in food security, restructuring the banking system, and transforming the current brokerage system.
A portion of the statement reads, “We, a group of economists from seminaries and universities, reaffirm our allegiance to the Leader of the Muslim Ummah, Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei (may God prolong his life). We express our gratitude for the designation of the year 1405 HS as the 'Year of the Resistance Economy under the Shadow of National Unity and National Security.' We firmly believe that, at the threshold of a historic turning point and a fundamental transformation in the global order, shifting economic policy paradigms from liberal models to the 'Resistance Economy' is the only path toward establishing a strong, influential Iran on the international stage.”
